Daily Ramblings .............. << previous // next >>
Dear Diary, Wow! The very first day of October. I can hardly even believe that soon it will be Thanksgiving (I'm CANADIAN!!!!)...and then Christmas will roll by...and before I know it, another year will have gone by. Time is flying by so much faster then when I was little. A whole year used to take forever to go by...and now it just zips on by! Everything seems rushed to me. It's all like go-go-go..... Anyway, today, I was reading "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis for my religion literature class. It's funny that I have to re-read a book that I read when I was in grade 3, but oh well...I almost forgot how much I liked that book. It brought back memories of when I was in gradeschool. Wow...things were so much easier then! I was starting to think about Hallowe'en. I'm wondering what I'm going to do this year. Haha...I'm too old to go trick-or-treating (rats! Hehe), but I was thinking that maybe I could have a party or something. It would be neat. Everyone could dress up in costumes, like a masquerade...music, food, dancing maybe. I'm not totally sure yet. It all depends on how much schoolwork I have. I'm telling you, Calculus and Finite in the same semester isn't good. Too much math homework. Enough said. I don't want to do TOO much complaining. I'm trying to stay positive, although, I must say that I'm NOT looking forward to my two math tests next week!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA...... So......these last few days, my brother was practically GLUED to the computer...particularly on Napster. He was downloading tons of dance songs and slow songs. He's trying to make a compilation for his girlfriend, Donna. My Dad got this neat program that you can actually label your CDs and make insert covers too. It looks so professional and all. Anyway, so my brother was toying around with it and I was helping him. It sorta looks neat. Hey...I was laughing my head off when I saw the little note at the bottom of one of the CD covers. It read: "Songs dedicated to my Bobo, love Michael"...hahahaha......BOBO??????!!!!!!!!!?????? Of all the funny pet names....haha...BOBO??? BOZO...haha....He finally agreed that it did sound silly, so he changed it back to her name - Donna. Anyway...so Donna came over today, very briefly...and she gave us a big bag of Red Delicious apples that she and her family had picked from some farm. That was really nice of her. I remember that when I was little, my family and I used to go to Chutley's Apple Farm (is that the spelling?). They used to have orchids and fields and fields of apples. You were even allowed to eat as many apples as you could, however, once you left the field, any apples you had on you, you had to pay for those. They used to also sell caramel apples and toffee and all sorts of sweets that would rot your teeth....MMMMMMMMM..........goodie!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha...... Ugh....I cannot believe that once again, another wonderful weekend has come to an end, and that I'll have to go to school tomorrow morning. This is making me a little queasy. SCHOOL. Hey...speaking of school...I just started thinking about that tutoring assignment I completed on Friday. I am really going to miss those grade nines...*sigh*....Even though some of them got on my nerves, they were alright. Awwwwww........the little buggers.....I hope they do well...I wish them the best. Some of them have their hearts in the right place. *Smile* Hey...want to know something interesting. I have this feeling that this guy in my Finite class, likes me. It certainly seems like it...because on Friday, he asked if anyone was sitting beside me and if he could sit there, even though he knew that my friend Nicole ALWAYS sits there. Anyway, Nicole was snickering and sat somewhere else. She knew what that guy was up to. Anyway, so it's not like I have anything against him. He's a grade 12 student and I don't really know him, so I can't make any judgements. He seems to be smart in that class though. We talk sometimes and he's friendly and all, but really I only like him as a friend.... Anyway...tomorrow, my father's going to take my funky sky blue flare courderoy pants to the tailor to get the length hemmed. FINALLY! I bought those pants in the summertime, and didn't even get to wear them ONCE...I have a few shirts that I bought over the summer, that I didn't wear yet...I will though. Anyway...I just loooooooove courderoy pants. They're so comfy and soft. You know what I really would like? A courderoy jacket. Those are so warm and snuggly soft. Okay......I'd better get going now........Take care and always remember to SPREAD THE SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya! *wink*
