Surprise From The Past .............. << previous // next >>
Hi. It's me again. I decided to quit typing "Dear Diary" at the beginning of all my entries. Why? Simply because I got bored of doing that. So...what's new? Well...yesterday, I wrote a Finite test and a Calculus test. I think that I aced the Finite one, although, I'd better not jump to too many assumptions, because the last one, I didn't do as great as I had hoped. Now, my Calculus test is another story. I don't think that I did miserably, but I don't think that I did well either. The teacher said that we'd be finding out the results tomorrow, so hopefully all goes well...or at least, okay. You know what? As I was randomly reading other online diary entries, I came across this one that was so interesting. It was really like a fascinating book that you just can't put down. I loved it. I even e-mailed the writer to comment on it. There were several entries, and I read all of them. WOW...the best entries that I read so far. Mine seems boring compared to that one, ... then again, the writer IS older than I am. It turns out that it might even be ficticious, because the doctor's name is different than the writer's...although, he might have just changed the names so that he wouldn't be recognized...kinda like an anonymous author (which I think adds to the mystery). If it IS fiction, WOW.......what an excellent writer he is! *Smile* Hey...while I was at work, guess who I saw? This guy, Derek, that I used to go to elementary school with. We weren't too close, but it was still nice to see him again. It brought back a lot of memories from "The good old days" (haha...even though I AM only 18...hehe). I told him that he looked the same, except for the fact that he grew a LOT taller. He told me that I looked different from when I was in grade 8. I agree with him. I look very different now and I sure do hope so! Haha...For one thing, I've grown taller and all of the other physical attributes have changed somewhat. But besides the physiological aspect, I believe that my personality has undergone a complete overhall. I've become more daring than I used to be before. Just ask my friend, Maggie...She knows....haha..Anyway, so then Derek asked me which university I'd be going to next year. Strangly enough, we've chosen the same university for our first choice. He wants to get into teaching...which is interesting. When I was in gradeschool, I wanted to become a teacher, and everyone thought that was "uncool" or that I was just batty. I guess it was a normal reaction. NOWWWWWWWW...lookie here, Derek wants to be a teacher and I want to become a psychologist. My, how the tables have turned since then...haha...So...I asked him which subject he wanted to teach, but he hasn't decided. I always thought that he'd get into sports or something like that, since he was always good at physical activity. I think that it would suit him...but hey...he's changed since then, just like I have, and maybe that's just not for him anymore. Who knows? Hey...while I was typing this, I was also checking my e-mail and apparently, someone signed my guestbook and surprised me with a beautiful award for individuality. WOW...hehe...talk about the timing! They sent the message a few minutes ago...hehe... Well...I have to get going now to get ready for work. I'll write again another day.
