Sound Waves In The Air .............. << previous // next >>

Friday November 3rd, 2000. - 6:14 PM

Well, I finally get a chance to sit back and relax.....ahhhh....anyway, I updated my page as well and I added another little page where the guests can actually play Tetris. (If you're interested, go to my webpage and play the game)

Yesterday, I went on this religion retreat. It was okay, but I really enjoyed last year's better, particularly since it was done during the summertime. The summertime retreats are always better...or at least, I've always liked them more. Also, more of my closer friends were at the same retreat as I was last year. This year, it was more or less just people who I said "hi" to in the hallways, but no one who I was real buddy-buddy with.

You know what? On this diary service that I'm using, I've noticed that they've got a new option up for its members. You can now add a guestbook to your diary. I'm not really sure if I want to, though. Why, you ask? Oh...just because I'm pretty sure that if I do that, I'm going to get lots of feedback (even more than I want). I'm pretty sure that a lot of people may disagree with what I say or blah blah blah, so I've decided that I'm not going to put a guestbook on this page. People can e-mail me and say whatever they want (I love hearing from you), but I figure that it will also be more work to monitor another guestbook. I barely have enough leisurely time anymore, let alone to spend on filtering the messages in a secondary guestbook.

So, Hallowe'en was alright. I didn't go trick-or-treating (too baddddd)...haha...See? This is one of the many disadvantages of being 18 years old. *smirk* Oh well, those days have passed. I remember how I used to get two full, stuffed bags of candy. There was this one street near mine that was amazing. Everyone on that street gave out chocolate bars or chips mostly! Of course they also gave out those lollipops and those nasty Rocket Candies. Soooo.......when I got home, I had like 250 chocolate bars, alone!!!!!!! Wasn't life good? Haha.....yeah....especially for the dentist! Hahahahaha....I bet he's just smiling to the bank with the sight of all those kids munching on goodies! (A note to those who take everything literally: I'm just kidding!!!!!!!!!!) <-- I actually have to put that note there, because sometimes people misunderstand my intentions.

So, anyway, my mother brought some trick-or-treat candies back home from work. Mmmmmmm......those "Lifesavers" lollipops are sooooooooo goooooooooooooood. YUMMMY!!!!!!!! I'm having one right now....

Anyway, so while I was at work, guess who I saw! I saw this guy, Joseph. He and I were in the same Algebra & Geometry class. He is in one grade higher than me, but I was fast tracking with that course, which is why I was in the same class as him. Anyway, so he said hi to me and it caught me offguard. I didn't expect to see him there. It was nice to, though. He still looks pretty much the same (of course, since it WAS only a few months since I last saw him) So, now he goes to university. He told me that it was difficult (his first year). Anyway, we talked some more, but I'm not going to type out EVERYTHING.....haha.....that would be too much.

So.....this is a very short diary entry. Oh well.....I guess I didn't have to much to say tonight...I'll write more in the next entry probably. Take care and keep on SPREADING THE SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
