Let The Sun Shine In .............. << previous // next >>
Well.........so many things happened lately and once again, I simply don't know where to begin to tell you everything. I probably won't be able to tell you EVERYTHING...after all, a girl's gotta have SOME secrets! Hehe....... Hmm....I didn't tell you about how my Valentine's Day went. Let's put it like this WOWWWWWW.....It was definitely the best Valentine's I've ever had. Danny is such a gentleman...Anyway...we went to the Summerfield's restaurant and we each ordered this HUGE sundae. It was called "Berried Treasure". It's delightful! It's got strawberries, whipped cream, a cherry, sponge cake (at the bottom) and it's got strawberry syrup all over the vanilla ice cream. It was HUUUUUGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEE. Even DANNY got full and couldn't finish his. It was about the size of our faces. Anyway...when we ordered it, I remember the waitress asking us if we were SURE that we wanted TWO sundaes and not just share ONE. Haha...she said that not many people can actually finish it. So, when I was done, she took the glass away and she was like, "Wow...most people share it, but you two had your own and it's almost finished" (or something like that. I can't remember her exact words - obviously). So...on top of that, Danny also had a milkshake. He was FULLLLLLLLLLLLL......haha.......our stomachs were like, BLOATED....but it was worth it. It was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! So, we walked around the mall for a while, talked, hugged, etc. Last Saturday was interesting. Danny came to my workplace and we were going to go watch a movie afterwards. Anyway, so when we get to the Famous Players theatre, it turns out that the movie only starts at 7-something and we had originally planned to see a movie at around 5-ish....sooooooo....we were like, "Okay.......guess we won't see a movie." So...we crossed the street and headed to the mall...There, we went to Toys R Us and goofed around in there. People probably thought that we were nuts (and maybe they were right......haha) When we finished looking at the entire store, it was 6 PM and the mall was closing. We're like, "Shoot....the mall is closing, it's cold outside and we still don't know what to do....Now what?" So...we went outside and us being indecisive, we spent about 8 minutes in the cold just thinking about what we should do. Haha. So...then I suggested that we go to grab a bite to eat and then see the 7 o'clock show. Anyway...we walked back and forth, here and there......and to make a long story short, we ended up going to my house. This is where the magic began...hehe.....Danny and I had our very first kiss...and after the first, we "practiced" several more times......*grin*........and.........well....the rest is top secret...Hehe....[My lips are sealed..] Anyway...tomorrow Danny and I are going to go see a movie....probably "Sweet November". This time we checked the time listing. Gee......aren't we SMART? (haha....that previous question was to be asked in a sarcastic tone of voice) Hmm...I wonder if we'll be able to concentrate on the movie.....or....each other.....haha.....*smirk* Tuesday February 20th was the Winter Activity Day at my school. A few friends and I went to the Ontario Science Centre. Yeah...you could say that we were being nerds for going there, but it was really interesting. Also, it was my first time watching a movie at the OMNIMAX theatre. It was like......WOWWWW....The screen is like a dome. When the movie is playing, you really feel like you're a part of it because it surrounds you. We watched the educational movie called "To The Limit"....I found it really interesting. Heyyyy........just last week (on Friday), I was working at the school's main office for my Peer Helping course, and a student came to sign in. His name is Bijan and he's 19 years old, but he's in grade 12. Anyway...so...while I was signing him in, he says, "What grade are you in? OAC?" I just said yes and he went on, "You're really cute." I just looked up and kinda smiled and blushed. He's like, "Sorry...I just had to say it. You're so cute!".....Hehe...Anyway...that certainly felt good. It made my day, even. So...I guess what I learned from this is that even the littlest comment can brighten someone's day. So...if you think that someone you know has a lovely smile, tell him or her that! Don't keep it to yourself. You never know just how much good you can do by complimenting a person. Oh...and we're not talking about 'sucking up' to someone just to get them to view you in a favourable light. I'm talking about compliments that come genuinely from the heart. Well...I'm going to get off this dinky computer now and look over some of my physics work. I'll write something more interesting next time. Until then, keep your chin up, smile and always remember to SPREAD THE SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.~.*-.
